Inanna Publications is thrilled to introduce three new staff members: Managing Editor, Rebecca Rosenblum, Production/Administrative Assistant, Meg Bowen, and General Manager, Miles Baker.
Rebecca Rosenblum holds a Master’s degree in English from University of Toronto and a publishing certificate from Toronto Metropolitan University, and brings 20 years of experience from the publishing and education sectors. In addition, Rebecca has published a novel, So Much Love, shortlisted for the Amazon First Novel Award and the Trillium Award as well as two collections of short stories and a forthcoming nonfiction book.
Meg Bowen studied English and Contemporary Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University and holds a post-graduate certificate in screenwriting. They come to Inanna from the film and television industry with both creative and practical production experience. They are a graduate from The Humber School for Writers, earning distinction from her mentors and professors on her first completed manuscript.
Miles Baker has worked for sixteen years in the not-for-profit publishing industry. Since 2010, he has worked with the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, serving as its executive director since 2020. Through his efforts at the festival its attendance has grown three times over, and has introduced dozens of partnerships and programming streams. A graduate of York University and the Centennial College Publishing programing, Miles also serves on the board of directors of the Vancouver Comic Arts Festival.
We are honoured to have Rebecca, Meg, and Miles join our team, who have all been working tirelessly to carry on the legacy of our long-time Editor-in-Chief, Luciana Ricciutelli (1958-2020).
New team members will work closely with Inanna’s Board of Directors, our publishing and administrative staff and collaborators, our authors and contributors, our booksellers, printers and distributers, our stakeholders, funders, and donors, and of course, our readers to contribute to the growth and success of Inanna Publications as we enter our 45th year of publishing.
